This is another story that I have written for the inside page of my newspaper. This story is another human interest story and is a good one for the inside page as it has a serious story in it and features a strong sense of victim within the community. I have found that many local newspapers like to feature a story about a victim within the community as it strengthens community spirit when people feel empathy for their neighbors.

Burgled 10 times

Local female resident Jenny Michaels’ house in North End was burgled last night for the tenth time in less than a month. It is the most recent in a succession of malicious burglaries carried out at Ms Michaels house on the Northern Rd.

The thieves have broken into her house using, windows, the back door, front door, conservatory windows and even the drainpipe.

Ms Michaels says that she believes a group linked to her ex husband is behind the spree of crimes, she claims that her recently divorced husband, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been the main implementer of the robberies due to soured relations between the pair.

Police have now arrested three suspects and are detaining them currently for further questioning.
