Today i have been using Powerpoint to complete my evaluation for this media project. To do the evaluation we had to answer 4 questions. They were: 1. In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products? 2. How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts? 3. What have you learned from your audience feedback? 4. How did you use new media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages.

This is an image of the poster that i designed for my newspaper.
This took very little time and was very easy to make but i think that it is very effective as an advertisement for my paper.
I simply used inDesign to insert my masthead from my front page and to add the rest of the wording to a photograph that i took of the fountains by Southsea castle.
As you can see i have maintained thee colour scheme here as i have done with my other pages. This is to help maintain a sense of brand and identity for my newspaper so that people can identify with it and are able to pick it out from competitors.

This is a small feature i have placed on the website that gives a short preview of what content will be included in the newspaper on that day. I think that this is a good idea as it allows people to easily find out whether they want to buy the hard copy of the newspaper that day. I think this would be a very good ida to encourage younger readers to start buying the newspaper as most young people turn on their computers and go on the internet first thing in the morning meaning that they could look at this feature early on in the day and then go and buy a copy.
